Children in my care will be very involved in deciding how we structure activities, learning and free play.

I want children's days to be relaxed, fun and stimulating. I will include a balance of adult led and child initiated activities.

When I plan activities for the children, I will ensure they are always based on individual interests and, as soon as the children can contribute to the planning, their opinions will be sought and their suggestions included where possible.

I believe in children learning through play experiences. I will ensure I offer lots of different and varied activities.

During the day we will have some structure but I am very aware this needs to remain flexible to accommodate children's needs and wants.

There will always be an opportunity for babies and children to have daily naps and/or quiet time as appropriate.

Indoor Activities:

• Play Kitchen, tea sets and play food
• Farm Yard with lots of animals
• Board Games, matching games
• Dolls, clothes for dressing up
• Shape sorters, musical toys, play gym, music and light up toys suitable for younger babies and infants
• Jewellery making (beads, macaroni and other suitable resources)
• Introduction to computer and mouse (for the little ones) - educational games. Letter recognition, number and writing skills - appropriate to age
• Computer with restricted access for the older children (parental controls)
• Wii, dance mat and various Wii games
• Hama Beads
• Homework club
